Equipment: |
The aircrafts used are a Cessna 172 or a Helicopter. For oblique photographs, a hand held Canon EOS 6D 20.2mp Digital camera is used. |
Historical Photography: |
In addition to continually flying, we have negatives dated back to 1938. These negatives may be scanned, rectified/geocoded, mosaicked, and/or printed. |
Scanning: |
Negatives may be scanned using the Epson 10000XL. This provides clients with a high resolution photograph that may be transmitted into digital format, rectified/geocoded, mosaicked, and/or printed. |
Rectifying: |
Using ER Mapper, vertical photographs may be rectified & geocoded and/or mosaicked to any datum/projection required. The resulting image consists of an encoded tiff file that has Latitude/Longitude, Eastings/Northings, and X/Y coordinates. The image is also set to a scale as required and we guarantee at least a five time enlargement. (We do not ortho-rectify images at this time) |
Printing: |
High quality, high resolution photographs may be printed up to 44” x 90” (without splicing) using an Epson Stylus Pro 9600 or Epson Stylus Pro 4800 printer. We can provide printed aerial photographs with or without labeled features, posters, and decorative prints. Darkroom printing is also available up to 36” x 40” (without splicing). Mounting and laminating services are also available on all prints for durability and permanence. Splicing or mosaicking is available on digital and darkroom printing. |
